we rang in the new year with sparkling grape juice out of mason jars, endless rounds of phase 10, ben&jerry’s, getting sleepy at ten pm, and pushing our planned snacks (pigs in a blanket for the boy & so much fruit & dip for me) to the next day due to said sleepiness. however, we still got in that midnight kiss.

then we spent the day teaching our kids at church & we spent new year’s night with my brother & his lady friend for even more phase 10, spaghetti dinner, cheesecake, and a circus of animals in our tiny home.
